WFF Visits SBF Foundation

WFF’s Managing Director Lu Bo paid a courtesy call on Ms. Esther Chong, General Manager of SBF Foundation and Senior Manager of Programmes and Operations Ms. Tan Sher Leen on Thursday 27 November 2014. 
 
Lu Bo provided an introduction to WFF while Ms. Chong and Ms. Tan described the misison and vision of SBF Foundation including its current programs and projects. This was supplemented by lively discussion on new initiatives presently being developed by both organizations followed by an examination of new and existing opportunities for collaboration between the two foundations. 
 
SBF Foundation was launched on 12 November 2013 by Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Established as an Institution of Public Character (IPC), SBF Foundation aspires to encourage a compassionate and pro-active business community to play a more active role part in building an inclusive Singapore. SBF Foundation intends to work with the business community in Singapore to promote corporate social responsibility and corporate philanthropy to uplift the less privileged and improve our environment.
