Singapore – The “Vertical Cities Asia International Design Competition and Symposium 2013: Everyone Harvests” publication was officially launched this evening at the URA Centre. Co-organized by the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) School of Design and Environment and Beijing Vantone Citylogic Investment Corporation, and co-sponsored by World Future Foundation, the publication collects in entirety the proposals and symposium papers that were presented at the third Vertical Cities Asia International Design Competition held in Singapore last year.
The third in the series, “Everyone Harvests” comes after the first volume “Everyone Needs Fresh Air” and the second volume “Everyone Ages”. The editorial team for the publication was made up of an elite group of industry heavyweights including Ms. Kazuyo Sejima, partner at award-winning architectural firm SANAA, Mr. Peter Head, Executive Chairman of the Ecological Sequestration Trust, Ms. Allison G.
