Lu Bo Pays A Visit To NVPC’s New CEO

WFF’s Managing Director Lu Bo paid a courtesy call on Ms. Melissa Kwee, National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC)’s newly named CEO on Monday 22 September 2014. Ms Kwee replaces Nominated Member of Parliament Mr. Laurence Lien who led NVPC for over five years. 
Managing Director Lu Bo provided an introduction of the Foundation and its current areas of focus while Ms. Kwee expanded on the roles and functions of NVPC. This was supplemented by lively discussion on new initiatives presently being developed by the two organizations followed by an examination of present and future opportunities for colloboration between the two parties.
Established in 1999, NVPC is the national body that promotes and develops volunteerism and philanthropy across all sectors. It also operates as a first-stop centre, catalyst and networking agency to foster the giving spirit in Singapore, whether of time, money or in kind.
